I'm doing research on 19th century rel...Hello!<br /><br />I'm doing research on 19th century religious processions in the Philippines and so far, yours is the only resource I've found saying that carrozas may have been used in the Philippines as early as 1860. Other sources say that most accounts show the use of andas until the end of the Spanish regime, although they do not explicitly say that carrozas had not been in use then either. <br /><br />If it's not too much trouble, I was wondering if you could help me get a better idea of the carroza mentioned in Mariano Henson's account of a holy week procession in Angeles. Or if you could point me to the right direction for more information on the structure of the andas in the Philippines (or Spain). I would appreciate it very much. <br /><br />P.S.
